In 1988, Ven. Khenchen Palden Sherab Rinpoche and his brother Ven. Khenpo Tsewang Dongyal Rinpoche founded the Padmasambhava Buddhist Center (PBC), a nonprofit organization whose aim is to establish and spread the authentic teachings and practices of Buddha Shakyamuni and Guru Padmasambhava according to the Nyingma lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. The Ven. Khenpo Rinpoches are the founders, directors, and spiritual leaders of the various PBC centers throughout the world.
PBC has centers in the United States, as well as in Puerto Rico, Russia, and India. The primary retreat center is Padma Samye Ling monastery, located in Delaware County, New York.
